A word you say with a smile.
BONJOUR is more than a greeting. It's the moment something good lands on the table – and you share it.
Two kitchens. One taste.
BONJOUR began in a kitchen in Kaarst where two things stood side by side: a matcha bowl and a pan for msemen. On one side, the café culture we grew up with here. On the other, the Moroccan home cooking we grew up with at home.
At some point we stopped keeping them apart. The cookie got pistachio and orange blossom. The msemen got amlou. And the harira went vegan, because that's how we like it best.
The name came quickly. "Bonjour" is the word that starts the day in Morocco – in France too – and everyone here understands it. It's friendly without being pushy. That's exactly how we want to be.
What we want: good food that gets shared. At the breakfast table, in the office, at the market, at the party. One for every moment.
What we hold ourselves to.
Home-made
Msemen folded by hand, cookies in small batches, harira from a family recipe. Anything we don't make ourselves, we say so.
Honest
Ingredients, allergens, prices – it's all there. We don't promise what we can't keep. See below.
Reliable
Pre-order means you know when it arrives. We confirm with a fixed time and keep it.
For sharing
Boxes for the table, catering for parties, a stall in town. Food is better with others.
What we promise. And what we don't.
We think this belongs on a website. Clearly and without asterisks.
This is true

We don't claim this
- – Organic applies to our matcha only. Our matcha comes from certified organic farming. All other ingredients carry no organic label, and BONJOUR as a business is not organic-certified. [file the matcha supplier's certificate]
- – We are not an allergen-free kitchen. Gluten, nuts, sesame, milk and egg are handled here. Traces can never be ruled out.
- – "Baked without gluten" means: without gluten-containing ingredients, but not certified gluten-free.
- – We have no certificates or awards to show here. If that changes, it'll be here.
